Associates Environmental is your partner for Clean Truck Check (CTC) initial fleet registration and emissions compliance testing. Our staff is equipped with California Air Resources Board (CARB) credentialed testers/equipment and will help keep your fleet on the road!

INITIAL FLEET REGISTRATION

Initial Reporting: Required for non-gasoline vehicles (GVWR > 14,000 lbs.) from October 1 to January 31, 2023.

Annual Fees: $30 per vehicle for initial reporting, 2024 fees due presently.

EMISSIONS COMPLIANCE TESTS

Testing Phase: All subject vehicles must undergo an On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) or Opacity & Visual Inspection (OVI) test based on engine model year.

Testing Frequency: Two Clean Truck Checks per year beginning in 2025.

Submission Window: Tests must be submitted within 90 days prior to DMV registration renewal & 90 days prior to six months after the last registration renewal.
